The Honda HR-V is a versatile crossover that is fairly new to the market, alongside its classic Honda CR-V sibling. The Honda HR-V has a stylish design that is sleek and coupe-like. The exterior is both sporty and refined, and there are new design options. Honda has released sporty new wheel designs that have black-painted inserts. There is also a beautiful new exterior paint color, which is available on certain trims, called Aegean Blue Metallic. 




The HR-V has quickly become a favorite among customers who want an easy-to-customize interior space, one that is comfortable for adult passengers, and convertible for hauling long cargo items. This is made possible due to the 2nd row Magic Seat, which has four modes and can offer up to 58.8 cubic feet of cargo volume, which is a competitive number even against larger midsize SUVs. In addition, passengers have 100.1 cubic feet of cargo space. 




Not only is the HR-V beautiful to look at and versatile, but it offers a dynamic and exciting ride quality that drivers will love. The standard engine in the HR-V is a 1.8-liter SOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine. The two-wheel drive models are linked to a six-speed manual transmission. The optional Real Time all-wheel drive has an Intelligent Control System with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Altogether, the Honda HR-V delivers 127 lb-ft of torque and 141 horsepower. 




Honda offers three trim levels with their Honda HR-V. This starts with the LX, which has the Magic Seat system, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and a 5-inch central display screen. The HR-V has a four-speaker sound system, a USB port, CD player, and Bluetooth. The EX trim boasts rear privacy glass, sunroof, automatic headlights, and keyless entry and ignition. The interior of the EX has heated front seats, a 7-inch touchscreen display, HondaLink smartphone apps, and a six-speaker sound system. The luxurious EX-L Navi trim has leather upholstery, roof rails, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a navigation system with voice recognition, and HD/satellite radio. 




The excellent 2018 HR-V is a wonderful family vehicle, as Honda has maximized safety and security for every drive. The standard safety features can include Hill Start Assist, Brake Assist, antilock brakes, and the Vehicle Stability Assist electronic stability control system. Additionally, the Honda HR-V has a Tire Pressure Monitoring System and a Multi-Angle Rearview Camera. The EX trim also features a passenger-side blind-spot camera (which is called Honda LaneWatch), and dynamic guidelines for the rearview camera.
