Honda Civic

The refreshed and revised 2019 Civic sedan and coupe are here! Honda has announced the arrival of this highly-acclaimed vehicle, which builds on the success of the 10th-generation of the Civic. This model year offers updated styling, standard Honda Sensing, and even a new Sport trim for both the sedan and the coupe! This means that the Civic that you know and love has only gotten better, as if we thought that was even possible. As the number one selling retail car in America, the Civic truly holds the crown, and with a few changes and additions, it is hard to argue with why people cannot get enough of the Honda Civic. No matter which body type suits you best, keep reading down below to learn more about what the 2019 Honda Civic has to offer!

What safety features come with the 2019 Civic?

In the 2019 model year, Honda Sensing comes as standard equipment. This system comes with a long list of standard safety features. These different features include adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist system, lane departure warning, road departure mitigation, forward collision warning, and Collision Mitigation Braking System. These features help to make the Civic safer than ever, meaning that this already top-selling sedan is going to be making families more comfortable than ever before, and parents more relaxed. There is no limit to how far Honda will go to make sure that their vehicles don't just look good, but keep everyone inside of the vehicle, and outside of the vehicle, as safe as possible.

Can you tell me about the design of the Civic?

The civic has never looked sportier, and we couldn't be more excited. The 2019 models have turned up the evolutionary styling updates in both the front and the rear. This means that the front is able to further accentuate the low and wide stance, along with a new piano black upper fascia "wing". You'll also find updated halogen or LED headlights, chrome side pod accents, a full-width front splitter, and a restyle bumper and lower grille. Both models have had their wheels designs changed, and there is even a chrome accent on the lower rear bumper of the sedan model. These changes show off the trend of aggressive and sporty sedans and coupes, and allow for the car to truly shine.

What features come with the new Sport trim?

This trim, which was introduced this year, fits right in between the LX and EX trim levels. It features a splitter-style rear lower bumper with a chrome exhaust finisher, side pod accents, and a piano black lower front fascia. You'll also find 18-inch alloy wheels that have a Berlina Black finish to help offer up an aggressive finish. A few of the added technology features include Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and 7-inch Display Audio. The engine that is found in the Sport is a 2.0-liter i-VTEC, which comes with an efficiency continuously variable transmission that features G-Shift Control, or a six-speed manual transmission.

The Honda Civic is a vehicle that will be around for years to come, and no matter the model year, we know we will always love it.
