Trim Levels of the 2019 Honda Civic

Setting the benchmark for what a compact sedan should be, the Honda Civic boasts a range of trim levels and powertrain combinations, allowing consumers to drive away with the exact vehicle they have been dreaming of! The Civic does fall into the compact sedan segment but this vehicle is anything but compact, offering tons of cabin room for passengers and gear! Plus, the Civic is also offered in a coupe and hatchback body style! The delightfully designed Civic is ready for all your adventures, but before you pack up, you need to pick the trim level that is right for you. LX: Starting the trim level lineup off is the LX model. This base trim is available in all three body style and comes outfitted with features like 16" wheels, a rearview camera, height-adjustable driver's seat, a USB port, automatic climate control, LED running lights, a four-speaker sound system, a 5" central display screen, Bluetooth, and the Honda Sensing safety package. That package includes features like forward collision warning with auto emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, lane departure warning and keeping assist, and road departure mitigation. 

Sport: Opt for the Sport model, also offered in all three body styles, and you will gain features like a 7-inch touchscreen, a center-outlet dual exhaust, dual USB ports, aerodynamic bodywork, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a rear center armrest with cupholders, keyless entry and ignition, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, remote engine start, HondaLink, sport pedals, fog lights, 18" wheels, and an 8-speaker sound system.

EX: Step up to the EX trim for a sunroof, satellite radio, 17" alloy wheels, a power-adjustable driver's seat, Honda's LaneWatch blind-spot camera, heated front seats, heated side mirrors, and dual-zone automatic climate control. This trim is also offered in all three body styles. 

EX-L: Next up is the EX-L, only available in the sedan and coupe styles. This trim adds more comfort features like an auto-dimming rearview mirror, leather upholstery, and a power-adjustable passenger seat. A version of the EX-L is available in the hatchback style but it is known as the EX-L with Navigation. This trim comes with navigation and a leather-wrapped shift knob and steering wheel.  

Touring/Sport Touring: The Touring and Touring Sport models are outfitted very similarly with features like an integrated navigation system, a 10-speaker sound system, heated rear seats, paddle shifters, automatic windshield wipers, LED headlights, and 18" wheels. The Sport Touring hatchback model gains a 12-speaker sound system. 

Si: Up next we have the Si, only available in the sedan and coupe body styles. This trim comes outfitted with features like a unique instrument panel, the 10-speaker sound system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Si-branded sport seats, a unique rear spoiler, bigger front brakes, and a sport-tuned suspension with adaptive dampers. 

Type R: The final trim level in the Civic lineup is the Type R. This model gains special exterior and interior styling enhancements, a Type R-specific suspension with adaptive dampers, a massive rear wing, larger front and rear brakes, high-performance tires, 20" wheels, a lightweight flywheel, and automatic rev-matching.
