
The minivan is, and always will be, the perfect family-vehicle. That rings especially true with the 2019 Honda Odyssey, and in the 2019 model year, the Odyssey just gets better than ever. The uniqueness that the Odyssey possess comes through in the six trim levels that are available for you to choose from. We are going to go over each of the trim levels that are offered in order to show off the features that come standard, and even the ones that are optional that can be added through other means. LX:
This first trim level, the LX, comes with many amazing standard features. Those features include a seven-speaker sound system, two USB ports, a 5-inch central display screen, a 60/40-split folding third-row seat, Bluetooth, power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, a rearview camera, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The LX, along with every other Odyssey, comes standard with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 262 pound-feet of torque and 280 horsepower.
EX:
The next option, called the EX, comes with even more features. You get standard safety features like lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. Technology wise, you'll find HD radio, satellite radio, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and an eight-inch touchscreen. Other features that you'll enjoy include second-row window sunshades, a removable center seat, heated front seats, three-zone automatic climate control, remote engine start, keyless ignition and entry, and power-sliding rear doors.Â
EX-L:
Stepping up from the EX is the EX-L. This trim cranks up the luxury with features like two charging USB ports for the second row, driver-seat memory settings, leather upholstery, a power liftgate, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a noise-reducing windshield, and a sunroof.Â
EX-L with Navi and RES:
This trim is incredibly similar to the EX-L. However, as you can tell by the name, you also get a rear-seat entertainment system, and a navigation system. This means that you'll be getting features like an HDMI input, a Blu-ray player, a 10.2-inch overhead display, a cabin intercom system, and a 110-volt power outlet.
Touring:
The next to last trim level, the Touring adds further features to keep you and the family entertained and the minivan clean. You'll get features like HondaLink services, an onboard 4G LTE connection with a Wi-Fi hotspot, a rear-cabin camera monitoring system, an integrated vacuum cleaner, a hands-free liftgate, automatic engine stop-start, LED headlights, and front and rear parking sensors.
Elite:
The highest trim level available, the Elite is truly the pinnacle of everything that a minivan should be. Standard features include a wireless phone charger, an 11-speaker premium audio system, ventilated front seats, noise-reducing glass for the front and rear windows, power-folding mirrors, and 19-inch wheels.
