Your family deserves the very best when it comes to SUVs, and luckily enough, Honda has just put out a brand new model! The 2019 Honda Passport comes storming into the 2019 model year with towing capabilities, off-roading skills, extra interior space, and the latest in technology. No matter what sort of use you're looking to get out of your SUV, the Passport is going to be ready and willing to perform even the toughest of tasks. One of the biggest highlight of this vehicle comes in the form of the trim lineup. Not only will you be getting impressive standard features on the base Sport trim, but the three other available models offer even more features to help you get the features you're looking for. Keep reading down below to find out what the four available trim levels offer!
Sport:
The first trim you'll find with the Passport is Sport. This model comes well-equipped with features like 20-inch wheels, three-zone automatic climate control, lane keeping assist, forward collision warning, a 5-inch central display, LED headlights, keyless access and ignition, adaptive cruise control, Bluetooth, and a 7-speaker audio system.
EX-L:
Moving up in the level lineup is the EX-L. This trim features an upgraded eight-inch touchscreen, extra USB ports, blind-spot monitoring, leather upholstery, a power liftgate, satellite radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, heated and power-adjustable front seats, and a sunroof. These features only help to build on the base that the Sport trim created.
Touring:
The second to last model available is called Touring. Touring adds versatility and comfort with features like integrated navigation, front and rear parking sensors, a 10-speaker sound system, a 115-volt power outlet, a hands-free liftgate, and heated rear seats. Even during the coldest winter days, this trim will be sure that you're nice and toasty, and your passengers are, too!
Elite:
Last but not least is the Elite trim. All of the previous models and their features fit perfectly into this model. The Elite adds a few things like a wireless smartphone charging pad, a heated steering wheel, auto-dimming side mirrors, LED interior lighting, and ventilated front seats. As you can see, Honda has perfectly outfitted the Passport's models to come with the latest in entertainment, safety, and comfort. Nothing has been overlooked.
All of the above trim levels come standard with one engine. That engine is a 3.5-liter V6, which can crank out 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. Paired with this engine is a 9-speed automatic transmission. The Sport, EX-L, and Touring trims come standard with front-wheel drive, while the Elite model gets all-wheel drive.
The Honda Passport is the perfect family vehicle, which is especially evident through the four available trim levels. These trims come with all of the goodies you're looking for, and no matter which trim you do pick, you'll never feel like you're lacking in technology.
